HOMEFRONT PC Patch – 1.0.4x Information

Huy, das nenne ich mal einen etwas größeren Patch !

Meine Hoffnung ist zurück, das HOMEFRONT ein Stern am Shooter Himmel werden kann.

Die Patch und DLC Vorbereitung und Vorgehensweisen deuten auf ein Langfristiges und Wohl überlegtes weiterentwickeln im Sinne der Community wünsche hin.

Zu den Details:

We are pleased to announce that the next Homefront PC patch and dedicated server tool has entered the final phase of testing and we expect to release it within several days. Once again, player feedback has driven many of the features contained in this patch including new game server settings, vote functionality, weapon balancing, and new RCON functionality (more details below). For additional info on Homefront PC, stay tuned to an upcoming Bash & Slash podcast (http://bashandslash.com/).

New Server Options:

- Increase Weapon Damage

- Increases weapon damage for head and torso shots with all weapons.

- Increased Weapon Recoil

- 15% recoil increase across all weapons.

- Reduce UI Elements Shown

- Disables UI elements such as ammo count for all players.

- Only Squad Members on Map

- This restricts the player position information shown on the mini-map to only include squad members and players that have been spotted.

- Only Show Ally Names

- Player nameplates for enemies will not show up.

- Require Manual Weapon Reload

- Disables auto-reload for all players on the server.

- Disable Death Follow Cam

- Disables the follow cam that is ordinarily shown when players die.

- Force First Person Cockpits

- Third person view is not permitted for drones or vehicles when this option is enabled.

- Reduce Ability Effectiveness

- Limited duration for thermal goggles and personal UAV.

- Force Ace Helicopters

- Enforces ace as the difficulty setting for all helicopters.

- NOTE: To disable specials and vehicles, scale the battlepoint earnings to 0% and set the initial BP to 0

Gameplay Video and More

Die Homefront Video Pforten haben weiterhin geöffnet. Bei unseren jetzigen Webwatch haben wir ein 7 Minuten langes Gameplay Video von GameSpot und 5 weitere knapp ein Minütige Gameplay Video Szenen gesichtet. Welche wir euch nicht Vorenthalten Wollen.

Die Videos stammen alle samt von der Xbox 360 Version. Das 7 Minütige Gameplay Video von GameSpot wird vom Lead Level Designer Rex Dicksons gespielt und (auf Englisch) kommentiert.

Wieder haben wir weiteres Video Material im World Wide Web gefunden. Explizit auf der Offiziellen Homefront Community Seite “community.homefront-game.com“. Dieses Mal handelt es sich um ein Homefront Exclusive Resistance Trailer by Machinima.com. Machinima.com hatte die Ehre eine exklusive Präsentation vorzustellen. Das Video ist 1½ Minuten lang und zeigt ca. eine Minuten ein paar Szenen aus dem Einzelspieler, welche einen mini Einblick auf die Story gibt.
